The Winners’ Circle

Five stories (one in each age category) will be picked out from the most popular stories each week and shown here to celebrate their brilliance. But that’s not all…

In it to win it

On a regular basis throughout the year, the best storytellers will win prizes!

The next competition will be finalised and judged in the last week of October 2021*.

Any creative work will be accepted, so don’t hesitate to submit your stories, jokes, pictures, songs, comic strips, and whatever else you’d like to share.

This is mainly a ‘stories’ website but you can tell a story in lots of different ways. The more creativity you share, the more chances you have to be chosen as the winner for your age category.

Some competitions may have ‘themes’ but this first one is an absolute free for all.

To find out more about the October competition (and what you could win) please pop over to this post about it.

This Week’s Leading Stories

Each Week’s Top Stories. Listed by age category will appear below:

Age 0-5*

(We acknowledge the fact that children this young will probably have a little help from parents, other adults, or an older child. We simply ask that you try to allow them to show their own creativity as much as possible. If an entry is clearly mislabeled we will not be able to include it in either the friendly weekly competition or in any Celebrating Stories prize-giving competition.)

Age 5-7

A date is yet to be set for our first ‘Stories of the Week’. It’s all about getting more stories out into the world at the moment. Until then keep writing!

*UK Only

Currently, we can, unfortunately, only offer prizes to entrants living in the UK. This is due to limitations on the distribution of prizes.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to find ways of involving children from all over the world but for now, we cannot get a prize to you live outside the UK.
